Position:IT Security Engineer
Job Description:Ø Identify and define system security requirements
Ø Design system security architecture and develop detailed security designs
Ø Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols
Ø Monitor computer networks, infrastructure and applications for security threats or unauthorized users
Ø Analyze security risks and develop response procedures/reports
Ø Develop and test software deployment tools, firewalls, intrusion prevention and intrusion detection systems and security tools
Ø Manage security controls and configurations on network layers /equipment's
Ø Ensure security fundamentals for end users
Ø Conduct regular security audits
Ø Manage critical network components
Ø Manage integration of security tools, standards and processes into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Ø Ensure developers
and
personnel
are
trained
with
the
appropriate
level
of
security
knowledge
Ø Assess, test and select new security products and technologies for applications
Ø Developing security testing scripts and procedures for application development and management
Ø Performing security controls and assessments within SDLC processes
Ø Reviewing/Updating application related patch management in applications
Skills:Ø 8+ years relevant work experience
Ø Experience with security tools
Ø Experience with security audits, security controls within SDLC
Preferred Certifications:Ø Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP / CISSP)
Ø GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)
Ø Certified Information System Auditor (CISA)
Ø Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
Ø Information Security Lead Auditor (ISO27001 LA)
EducationØ B.S. degree in Computer Science or a related technical degree is highly desired
