Position:Windows Administrator Job Description:Ø Operate and help define policies and processes for the configuration management of desktops and servers Ø Operate and help define policies and processes for responding to day to day operational issues with computer equipment, enabling tracking, analyzing and determining the root cause of reported issues Ø Operate and help define policies and processes for responding to longer term change and capacity management Ø Administration of Windows messaging and collaboration applications Ø Installation, upgrade and configuration of Windows server hardware and software in a physical and virtual environment Ø Monitoring server and system performance and making adjustments to correct issues Ø Configuration and monitoring of Windows server back-ups using enterprise back-up software. Ø Maintaining security by installing updates to software and the Windows operating system. Ø Working with hardware and software support engineers to diagnose and correct problems Ø Responding to trouble tickets and work requests and participation in on-call rotation. Ø Manage Active Directory Ø Ensure that information resources supporting organizational requirements are continually available Ø Manage the Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) system with IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework Ø Manage DC and DRC systems and platforms Ø Design and administer programs to include policies, standards, guidelines, training programs, and a viable quality assurance process for disaster recovery. Ø Oversee and review the testing and implementation of software, data systems, and data networks to ensure that the integrity and security of all electronic data and data systems are adequately protected Ø Facilitate the preparation of an organization-wide business resumption plan. Ø Assist in the coordination and establishment of disaster recovery programs and business resumption planning across mainframe and client server platforms. Ø Coordinate and monitor simulation testing across all platforms. Ø Design and administer programs to include policies, standards, guidelines, training programs, and a viable quality assurance process for disaster recovery Skills:Ø 8+ years relevant work experience Ø Experience with information resources management Ø Experience with relevant change, capacity and desktop support management Preferred Certifications:Ø Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Specialist (MCDST) Ø ManageEngine Desktop Central Certification Ø HDI Desktop Support Manager (HDI-DSM) Ø Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) EducationØ B.S. degree in Computer Science or a related technical degree is highly desired
