Position:Technical Support Job Description:Ø Manage service desk and incidents Ø Manages problems related to end user support tools Ø Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications Ø Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks; Ø Troubleshoot system and network problems and diagnose and solve hardware or software faults Ø Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports Ø Supports the roll-out of new applications Ø Set up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues; responding within agreed time limits to call-outs Ø Works continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate) Ø Priorities and manage many open cases at one time Ø Analyzing and monitoring problems requested in Problem Management Tool Ø Prioritize and escalate issues as necessary Skills:Ø 8+ years relevant work experience Ø Experience with problem management tools Ø Experience with end user support Preferred Certifications:Ø Relevant Service Desk Institute – SDI certifications Ø HDI Customer Service Representative EducationØ B.S. degree in Computer Science or a related technical degree is highly desired
